The COBY Electronics Model CX-788 Digital AM / FM / TV (sound) / NOAA Weather Radio will notify you of a storm or emergency. The digital  AM/FM Tuning System also features Weather and TV bands, and a Built-in Alarm clock. The LCD Digital Display radio has 3-way power to either plug in the AC line cord, use a DC Adapter (not included), or run on (3) D-Cell batteries.
     The NOAA Weather Alert will automatically turn on to alert you of a possible emergency. Working with the Federal Communication Commission's (FCC) Emergency Alert System, NWR (NOAA Weather Radio) is an "All Hazards" radio network, making it your single source for comprehensive weather and emergency information. The NWR radio is on the StormPrepare "must have" list.
